There are many areas in the Western Cape that suffer from high water tables, causing waterlogged gardens and even structural damage to property due to clay and stone formations below ground level. When the soil becomes saturated, clay or stone formations stop rainwater from draining — and it’s important to control the affected area before it causes too much damage.
